Baccarat is played in nearly all casinos. It is a simple game, very similar to 'chemin de fer'. In baccarat, the bank is held either by casino or by the highest bidder, who pays a percentage of winnings to the casino as commission. the players can be of any number, and they arrange themselves around the table. When the seats are all taken, players stand behind. The banker sits in the center, and deals only three hands, one to the players on the left, one to the players on the right and one to himself. A player may call 'banco' and bet against the whole of the bank; otherwise the players combine their stakes to equal the amount put up by the bank. The banker may not reduce the bank, and any winnings are added to it. The banker may withdraw at any time, when the bank is auctioned again.

 It is a game of chance where you can beat the casino in the short run if you are  lucky; but if you keep playing long enough the casino will always end up winning  your money.Baccarat is a simple game with only three possible results -'Player',  'Banker' and 'Tie'. The term 'Player' does not refer to the customer and the term  'Banker' does not refer to the house. In such case each of the other players, in rotation, has the option of taking it, but he must start the bank with the same amount at which it stood when the last banker retired. Should no one present care to risk that high a figure, the deal passes to the player next on the right hand of the retiring banker, who is in such case at liberty to start the bank with such amount as he thinks fit, the late banker now being regarded as last in order of rotation, though the respective priorities are not otherwise affected.
